  12. Dale Says:

    Terry,
I too am planning a 5.7 Hemi for my ’65 Barracuda. I have just started researching what engine is better to use (truck, car or Jeep) Sorry I don’t have any information to share, but if you don’t mind sharing information or where such a small A-Body swap info can be found online. Me and others to come will owe you. At least you must have some pictures? ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Vince Says:

I have an 04 5.7 Hemi and want to install it in to a Jeep.Does anybody have definate answers and prices where I can get this info? Thanks

  15. rob Says:

vince you need to be more specific on your intentions but i just finished putting a 06 5.7 in a 06 TJ along with a 545-rfe the jeep trans wont handle the torque of the hemi. If you contact chris at hotwireauto.com he can hook you up with a wiring harness and PCM made just for the application you need, made it real easy

  16. Trev Says:

I have researched a pile of info for my 5.7 swap (truck block) into my 72 Scamp. Sorry for any incorrect spelling! Motor mounts from schumauker performace. manifolds from a cherokee(btm exit needed for A-body swap or headers of the same), 420hp kit from XV motorsports around $2500.00(US) includes 2 wire plug n play carb, intake, and computer as well as the harness, they also carry the trans & flex plate adapter for 904/727/a-518 overdrive. This swap isn’t for the faint at heart it requires more skills than the average car inthusiast usually has. It’s the little things that bite you!Contact me for more info @ Trevor@remotewirline.com only serious replies as this is my work e-mail.
