Accountability: What all employees should know

Most companies tend not to call much attention to cases of improper or illegal activities by employees. However, Chrysler Group leaders want hard-working, loyal employees and contractors to know that suspected violations are thoroughly investigated and violators face serious consequences. For 15 years, the Business Practices Office has provided an open line for employees to call anonymously to ask questions on business ethics or to report suspected violations. The tieline number is 722-9800, or a tollfree number (800) 543-1391. Suspected ethical violations are investigated by the Business Practices Office and Security, or in some cases, Corporate Audit or the Corporate Diversity Office. The findings are presented to Human Resources, Employee Relations and operational management for follow-up action. Serious criminal violations are investigated and referred to local, state and federal law enforcement agencies for prosecution.
