Dodge Caliber mod wows ’em at SEMA

A customized pre-production 2007 Dodge Caliber was the focal point of the Chrysler Group’s display, but special editions of the Viper and the Charger also vied for attention at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. Together, Mopar® Performance and the Chrysler Group skunkwerks overhauled an early model Caliber. Several flavors of Charger turned up at SEMA, including an SRT8 drift car with a modified 6.1-liter HEMI®, plus a Charger R/T Boston Acoustics Edition, modified by Performance West. The latter car is transformed visually with an RKSport hood, front fascia and rear wing, while the cockpit features a Hurst dual-gate shifter, Katzin leather upholstery and trim, and a Boston Acoustics custom audio system. I already have Chrysler products on my shopping list, but if I did not, I would certainly be tempted to visit a showroom to see what this excitement is all about.
